Our History
Launched as a program of the Phillips Foundation in 2016, IITT seeks to accelerate the awareness and adoption of impact investing practices through speaker series, seminars, workshops, and an online hub of aggregated information and resources.
We strive to deliver the most relevant, up-to-date information from the world of impact investing in an easy-to-access format. We want to meet you where you are on your journey and help guide you to make informed decisions for your organization and our world.
As a private family foundation, Phillips Foundation executes a values-alignment strategy across all asset classes of its endowment’s diversified portfolio, while maintaining competitive returns. Their successful experiment with “total portfolio activation” has inspired the Phillips Foundation to encourage others to align their investments with their values. IITT’s mission is to grow the field and practice of impact investing.
